Phillip R. Semple, 62, of East Wareham, died Tuesday, July 5 at his home. He was the son of the late Charles and Gwendolyn (Bowles) Semple.

Born in Wareham, he graduated from Wareham High School and worked as a machine operator, most recently for Ocean Spray. He loved music, sports and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Jennifer D DeMello of East Wareham, Jeremy J. Semple of Wareham and Evelyn A. Semple of New Bedford; his siblings, Cheryl Fisher, Michelle “Mikki” Semple, Nancy Burke, Kathi Semple, Kim Tribou, Kelli Semple and Kerry “Jay” Semple all of Wareham, Charles “Chip” Semple of Rochester, Cindi Veverka of Sarasota, Florida, Patti McElroy of Northampton and Kevin Semple of Florida; his grandchildren, Justin, Jared, Jacob, Avery, Rashad, Caden, Alanzo and Denzel and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, the late Timothy and Tracy Semple.

Services were held July 8, 2016 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, Wareham.
