Wareham Garden Club past-president Sandy Slavin and current-president Donna Greenwood recently placed bricks in the club's Memorial Garden to honor members who have passed away.

Remembered this month were Ronna Santoro, who served as president from 2002 to 2004, Mary Fay, Norma Keyes, Dorthea (Dee) Shoemaker, Margaret Swett, and Mary Conroy.

The Memorial Garden is located on Minot Avenue. Initial bricks placed honor the originators and founders of the club from 1938.

The garden is cared for by the club's Civic Beautification Committee and Landscape Design Committee.
