Photos and video: Wareham High School pre-Spring Break pep rally
Wareham High School students began Spring Break with a pep rally on Friday afternoon.
Principal Scott Palladino told students to have a safe vacation from school. Teacher, softball coach, and DECA advisor Cindy Sylvia then got the rally going.
Armed with a decibel meter, Palladino and Sylvia made their way around the school's gym and asked the freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors to chant "Wareham Vikings" to see which class could make the most noise in the name of school spirit.
It was a tie between the junior and senior classes at 93 decibels, but after a rematch, the seniors pulled ahead with an impressive 97 decibels.
The rally featured recognition of the school's many sports teams and clubs as well as a performance by the state champion Winter Color Guard.
