The annual Minot Forest Elementary staff vs. students basketball game raked in nearly $600 for the school's yearbook on Friday, April 26.
The students won, 110-101, in a game that included impromptu dancing and crazy antics.
Renee Fernandes of Minot Forest is raising money for two yearbooks this year -- one for fourth-graders and one for fifth-graders, since both will be moving into Wareham Middle School next school year.
The fifth-graders' yearbooks will cost approximately $1,840. It is unclear how much the fourth-grade yearbooks will be.
Fernandes says more fundraising events will be scheduled.
