Wareham Mx hosted the third and final round of its Triple Crown Series on Sunday.
Racers in more than 20 divisions took part in the series, with awards going to the top three racers in each heat.
"It's going good," said B.C. Atwood of Wareham Mx. "We had a good turnout today, with a lot of families coming from all over New England."
Owner Jake Morrison said they were also planning to have a fall Triple Crown Series as well.
A portion of the proceeds from the series will go to charities within the town of Wareham and elsewhere, such as the Wareham Free Library, and a day earlier, the track played host to another fundraising event. That fundraiser was held for James Marshall, a professional motocross racer who was paralyzed at a race 10 years ago.
"We're all about trying to help everyone out," said Atwood, noting that Marshall had flown out from California for the event, which he said was a success. "He was happy, and we were happy."
Jason Ward, a Wareham resident, was at the track with his son Caleb Ward, who took third place in one of the youth races held Sunday. He said Wareham Mx is a good place for kids to ride because it's supervised by professionally trained adults.
"We come out here all the time," said Ward. "There aren't many places like this around. It's either they go out in the woods and you hope your kid doesn't get hurt, or they come out here and race."
