Phyllis M. (Donahue) Richards, 92, of Wareham, died June 3, 2014 in the Arbors, Taunton. She was the widow of the late Albert F. Richards and the daughter of the late Ellen (Swanson) Card.

She was born in Brockton and lived in East Bridgewater for many years before moving to Wareham in 1973. She spent the winter months in Naples, FL. She graduated from Brockton High School.

Mrs. Richards and her husband owned and operated Beaver Nursery in East Bridgewater for many years before retiring.

She enjoyed reading, shopping and spending winters in Florida.

Survivors include her son, Bruce Richards of Raynham; her daughter, Carol A. Black and her husband, Noel of Middleboro; two grandsons, Thomas Black of Middleboro and Adam Black of West Bridgewater; four great-grandchildren, Cody, Kayla, Brittni and Nicole Black. She was the sister of the late Howard “Jack” Donahue, George Lindquist and Pauline Enos.

Her services will be private.
