WAREHAM – Phyllis Marie (Combes) Jamieson, 87, of Wareham, passed away May 22, 2023, at Tobey Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Adam C. Jamieson and the daughter of the late Thomas and Esther (Gibbons) Combes.

She was born in Everett, grew up in Medford and lived in Wareham since 1972.  She spent the winter months in Ft. Meyers Beach, FL.  She graduated from Medford High School.

Mrs. Jamieson worked as a medical secretary at Tobey Hospital for many years before retiring.

She enjoyed reading, crocheting, watching the birds in her yard and the Hallmark Channel.

Survivors include 2 sons, John Jamieson and his wife, Nattiya of King George, VA and Charles Jamieson of Wareham; a daughter, Linda McKiernan and her husband James of Wareham; her grandchildren, Jennifer McKiernan, Matthew Jamieson, Jamie McKiernan and her husband, Raymond O’Hare, Timothy McKiernan and his wife, Mary, Michael Mahoney and his wife Nicole; a sister, Adele Charlesworth of Salinas, CA; her great grandchildren, Seamus, Robin and Elliot, her sister-in-law Stacia Grant, brother-in-law Raymond Jamieson and his wife Doris of Billerica and many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Roberta Hughes, Esther Renee MacMillan and Richard Combes.

Visiting hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – WAREHAM, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, 94 High St., Wareham.

Burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
