Play mini-golf at the library today!

Feb 19, 2012

Tee off in the Fore! For the Friends mini-golf event at Wareham Free Library today, February 19, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Adults can show off their skills for $5, while children age 12 and under play for $3.

The fundraiser, which benefits the Friends of the Wareham Free Library, has turned the library into an 18-hole mini-golf course, complete with challenging obstacles. (Wareham Week is back for the second year with a chance for participants to get some of our very cool Wareham Week pens... that is, if you can make it through the beach, but that's all we'll say about that here!)

Participants can stop by the "19th hole" at the end of the game for refreshments, face-painting, and raffles. Home Depot has donated a $300 barbecue grill, which will be raffled off to help you kick off your regular mini-golf season during the summer months!

All money raised will benefit the work of the Friends of the Wareham Free Library, which pays for books and programming at the library. The library is located at 59 Marion Road.
