'Plymouth County's Got Talent' enters its final round
Local singing competition “Plymouth County’s Got Talent” heads into its final round Thursday, June 4, at 7 p.m.
The competition will be open to the public and held at the Rosebrook Event Center at the new Mariott Hotel at 50 Rosebrook Place.
The 21 finalists compete in the show for a chance to win a recording session with Grammy-nominated Surefire Creative Studios, based in Boston.
“We were thrilled with the overwhelming response of talent in our preliminary round,” said Jillian Zucco, the reigning Miss Middleboro and producer of the singing competition.
Tickets are $10, and can be reserved by e-mailing CMNH4kids@yahoo.com, or purchased at the door, space permitting.
The finals will be judged by five out-of-area music industry professionals.
Proceeds from the event will benefit local children treated at Boston Children’s Hospital through the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, the national platform for the Miss America organization. Tax-deductible donations to the platform can be made on Zucco’s donation page.
