Police arrest two in school-area drug bust

Police arrested two residents of Brandy Hill Apartments, which abuts Minot Forest Elementary School, after raiding their apartment in the early morning of Tuesday, June 29, and recovering small amounts of several types of illegal drugs.

Stephen Miranda, 43, and Christina Bizzarro, 45, both of 12 State St. Apartment 7A, were arrested for multiple drug charges after police found small amounts of marijuana, cocaine, heroin, oxycodone, valium, and $1000 cash while searching their apartment. Also confiscated was a digital scale and plastic baggies which are items commonly used by street-level drug dealers.

Miranda and Bizzarro were taken to the Wareham Police Department where they were booked and subsequently transported to Wareham Fourth District court for arraignment. They are both awaiting a future court date.

Possession of Class A Heroin,
Possession of Class A Heroin with intent to Distribute Subsequent Offense,
Possession of Class B Subsequent Offense (cocaine),
Possession of Class B Subsequent Offense with Intent to Distribute Subsequent Offense,
Possession of Class B Subsequent Offense (Suboxone),
Possession of Class B Subsequent Offense (Oxycodone Hydrochloride),
Possession of Class C (Valium)
Possession with intent to distribute in a school zone

Christine Bizzarro was charged with:
Possession of Class A Heroin,
Possession of Class A Heroin with intent to Distribute,
Possession of Class B (cocaine),
Possession of Class B with Intent to Distribute Subsequent Offense,
Possession of Class B (Suboxone),
Possession of Class B (Oxycodone Hydrochloride),
Possession of Class C (Valium)
Possession with intent to distribute in a school zone
