The Wareham Historical Society is hosting a program on Monday, Nov.17 about the history of Tobey Hospital.

Alice Tobey Jones gifted Wareham the hospital in memory of the Tobey family in 1939. According to the Historical Society, it was dedicated to the service of all people and is a vital member of our community.

The Society is hosting this program to continue honoring town history during Wareham’s 275th anniversary of incorporation.
