The Wareham Recycling Center, located on Plymouth Road off Maple Springs Road, is looking for volunteers.

The center is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesdays. 

Volunteers are responsible for helping visitors sort their recycling and dispose of it. 

The center also hosts a swap shed and a book shed, along with several other drop-off areas.

“It takes about ten minutes to learn the job, and everyone is very helpful,” said Jennifer Grady, the chair of the Recycling Committee.
