Redevelopment Authority aims to help local businesses

Dec 23, 2019

The Wareham Redevelopment Authority is launching a new program to support new and existing businesses in Wareham. Dubbed “Made in Wareham,” the program aims to celebrate and advertise existing businesses in town, and to support new businesses as well as investments in and expansions of current local businesses.

As part of that work, the Authority will be setting up a webpage to publicize local businesses, and is asking companies to reach out to the Planning Office to be included.

The Wareham Redevelopment Authority also wants to connect people, including business ventures and investors, job producers and job seekers, and property owners with those looking for land. For example, a potential marijuana testing laboratory is looking for investors, and the Redevelopment Authority is looking for available land to suggest to new businesses asking about properties.

For further information on the program, please contact the Wareham Redevelopment Authority at 508-291-3100, ext. 3172.
