A Celebration of Life fundraiser in memory of Elizabeth "Liz" Ferreira will take place on Friday, July 11 at Redman Hall. The event will feature a DJ, food, drinks and raffle.

All proceeds benefit the Compassionate Care ALS foundation, which provides educational and legal resources, respite opportunities, instruction and guidance, subsidy of living aids and assistance, and intimate dialogue with patients and their caregivers, families and friends.

The event will take place at 7 p.m. in Redman Hall, 758 Main St., Wareham.
