Chowder chefs and lovers of the dish are invited to the Redmen 2nd Annual Chowder Festival, where people can bring in their chowder specialties for voting. 

The festival will be held on Saturday, Jan. 27, at the Redmen Hall, 745 Main Street, Wareham, from 1 to 4 p.m. 

There is a $15 entry fee for the chowder competition, for those wishing to show off their cooking talents, and a $10 general admission, for those who want to enjoy an afternoon of tasting food and having fun. 

There’s a $100 prize for first place, a $75 price for second place and a $50 prize for third place. There will be a scratch ticket raffle and a 50-50.
