Retired Army Colonel and author David Finz-Enz to speak at Town Hall May 29
More than a year of planning has taken place for a variety of events to celebrate the 200th Anniversary of the War of 1812 Attack on Wareham by the British warship the HMS Nimrod in June and the 275th Anniversary of the Incorporation of the Town of Wareham in July.
The Celebrations begin with a Speaker Series:

He will be available to sign books following the presentation.
On Tuesday, June 3, at 7 p.m. in the Wareham Free Library, town resident and Captain of the Wareham Minutemen and Militia Companies Malcolm Phinney will present “Redcoats and Residents” on Wareham’s role in the War of 1812. A historical display will be at the library all week.
