Road closures for Incorporation parade
Jul 12, 2014
The parade billed as one of the the biggest in Wareham's history will take place on Saturday, July 12 in honor of the 275th anniversary of the incorporation of Wareham.
The Wareham Police Department advises drivers take alternate routes during the parade as most streets leading into or out of the center of town will be restricted and/or blocked.
These streets will include but not be limited to Main Street, Minot Avenue, Narrows Road, Sandwich Road, Marion Road, High Street, Gibbs Avenue, Elm Street and any connecting street for the Center of Wareham.
The parade will begin on Main Street in front of Tobey Hospital, travel down to the Town Green and around it, move onto Gibbs Street, then continue to Route 6 and finally turn on to Viking Drive.
