Robert F. Stockel, Jr., 61, of Plymouth, died Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at his home after a long illness. He was the husband of Brenda L. (Rowley) Stockel.

Born in Needham, he was the son of the late Robert and Marie Alana (Dolan) Stockel.  Robert graduated from Plymouth-Carver High School in 1978. He was the owner and operator of Stockel Transportation. Robert was also a former call-firefighter for the Wareham Fire Department.

Robert was a pro-stock race car driver and raced at Seekonk Speedway, Thompson Speedway and other racetracks throughout New England. He also enjoyed football and watching his son’s sporting events.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda; and his children, Dakotah Stockel of Plymouth and Chaunee Stockel of San Diego, CA.
