Rochester Historical Society examines wedding traditions

The Rochester Historical Society will discuss the history behind wedding traditions as well as the language of flowers with a lecture by Wareham Folklorist Deborah Cahoon following their Wednesday, June 16 business meeting.
The event will be held at the East Rochester Church/ Museum, 355 County Rd., Rochester at 7 p.m. The society will also unveil a collection of clothing from the 1920s and 1930s that they have recently acquired.
