A car crash on Marion Road outside Shaw’s slowed traffic on the afternoon of Friday, June 28.

A light gray Toyota was stopped in the center of Route 6 with minor damage as police vehicles blocked part of the road. There was a small amount of debris near the stopped car. It is unknown if any other vehicles were involved. Police directed traffic around the stopped vehicle. 

An ambulance arrived and left the scene within a span of minutes. It is unknown if anyone was injured.

The identity of the people involved is not known at this time.

The Wareham Police Department and Fire Department did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
