Sandra Roche, 76

Sandra M. (Stratton) Roche, 76, of East Wareham died Sept. 7 at home. She was the widow of the late John E. Roche and the daughter of the late Enos and Gloria (Dorval) Stratton.

She was born in Brooklyn, New York and lived in Randolph and Dorchester before moving to Wareham in 1980.

Mrs. Roche worked as a waitress at Quintal’s and the Lobster Cottage in Buzzards Bay for many years before retiring.

She was a member of the Audubon Society. She enjoyed bird watching and was a fan of the Boston Red Sox. She loved her family.

Survivors include her daughter Theresa Hunt and her husband Steve of East Wareham; three sons, Mark Noble and his wife Tammi of Middleboro, James Noble of Wareham and Timothy Roche of Bourne; a sister, Pamela Stratton of Rockport; two brothers, John Stratton of Pocasset and Louis Stratton of Virginia; six grandchildren, Mark Noble, Jr., Leah Ledger, Michael Whitney, Eric Arone, Mikayla Arone and Naomi Noble; five great grandchildren.

Her memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Sept. 13 in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway, Wareham. Visiting hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
