Saturday crash damages East Wareham Cumberland Farms
Wareham Police responded to a hit-and-run accident at Cumberland Farms on Depot Street just before 1 a.m. on Saturday.
Wareham Police Public Information Officer William Fihlman said no one was hurt in the accident.
Brandon M. Andrews, 24, of Mashpee, was summonsed for leaving the scene of an accident with property damage, after he reportedly drove his vehicle into the front door of Cumberland Farm's and then left the parking lot, according to the Wareham Police log.
Though several windows at the front of the store were boarded up, Cumberland Farms remained open throughout the weekend. Workers were seen replacing the store's windows on Monday afternoon.
A Public Relations representative for Cumberland Farms did not immediately return a request for comment. We will update this story as more information becomes available.
