Indulge your passion for ice cream while supporting a wonderful and worthwhile cause when Nana’s Ice Cream Parlor on Onset Avenue in Onset opens its doors for a Spinney Memorial Library Fundraiser on September 10th from noon to 4:00 p.m.   This year at Scoops for Spinney, there’s lots to celebrate over chocolate, vanilla or butter pecan: the restoration and expansion of Onset’s iconic yellow cottage is complete and Spinney Memorial Library is open for business!

Spinney supporter Winna Dean of Onset said, “We are grateful to Marc Anthony’s for contributing so much to the Spinney project.  “Scoops for Spinney” has been a great money maker for the building campaign. Now we’re concentrating on raising funds for the landscaping.  Thanks to the entire Salerno family for contributing the idea, ice cream, enthusiasm and venue for this ice cream social.  Now all we need are children of ALL ages to show up hungry at Nana’s on September 10.”
