Scott R. Young, 43, of E. Wareham, died unexpectedly on Monday, October 25, 2010 at Tobey Hospital in Wareham.

Born in Boston, and a previous resident of Marshfield, he was the son of Bernadette (Kennedy) and Thomas D. Young of East Wareham.

Scott was employed as a roofer in the construction industry.

He is survived by his parents, his sister Sandra Young, of E. Wareham, and his niece Brandy Young, of E. Wareham, and his companion Mary Kristmas.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 1 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Rt. 28), Wareham at 10 a.m.  Interment will be in Center Cemetery, Wareham.  Visiting hours will be Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m.
