The Scotty Monteiro, Jr. Foundation will hold its 6th annual Scotty Monteiro, Jr. Foundation Golf Tournament at the Bay Pointe Country Club in Buzzards Bay.

The fundraiser, which is the foundation’s biggest event of the year, begins at 12 p.m. It will feature a golf tournament that costs $135 to enter. The cost includes tournament play, a golf cart, and dinner. There will also be a helicopter ball drop, in which numbered golf balls will be dropped from a helicopter near a course hole. The ball closest to the hole wins $2,000, while the furthest wins $500. Tickets for the helicopter ball drop are $10. Businesses that wish to sponsor a hole can either be a hole sponsor for $100, or a platinum sponsor for $500.

In the evening, there will be a party with a live DJ, food, and dancing, as well as an auction and several raffle items. The party is open to the public.

Through the day, foundation merchandise, including sweatshirts, t-shirts, and bags, will be available for purchase.
