Scouts take soap, sponges, suds in hand

It was all soap, suds and smiles on Saturday, Aug. 17, as the members of Girl Scout Troop 64968 started off their year with a car wash in the Wareham Fire Department parking lot.
The girls raised $303 for their troop in what was the second annual car wash.
“Mostly it is used to help with the badges the girls earn, but we will also be making new troop shirts this year,” said troop leader Sara Phillips.
