The Second Annual Canal Cruise to Benefit the Mary Jane Pillsbury Memorial Scholarship Fund is scheduled for Saturday, September 10, 2011. Passengers should arrive at 6 p.m. for a 6:15 p.m. boarding. The Viking Canal Cruise Ship will leave Onset Pier at 6:30 p.m. for a tour of the Cape Cod Canal and will return at 9:30 p.m. The evening will be a chance to remember the late Mary Jane Pillsbury’s many contributions to the community and there will be plenty of food, fun, and music. Tickets are $30 per person. Advanced ticket purchases are recommended. Send an e-mail to MJPScholarship@gmail.com to make arrangements to purchase tickets. Tickets can also be purchased by mail by sending a check for $30 (per ticket) to Mary Jane Pillsbury Memorial Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 431, West Wareham, MA 02576.
