Second annual Wareham Oyster Festival set for May 3
The Wareham Village Association will host the town’s second annual Oyster Festival on May 3, and the organization is looking for participation from local restaurants, shellfishermen, and other businesses.
The group will promote participating local restaurants in an “Oyster Trail” map throughout the week of April 26 leading up to the festival.
The festival, which will take place in Wareham Village from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., will feature music, beer and wine, curated vendors, food, and fresh regional oysters.
Participating restaurants interested in being added to the "Oyster Trail" map must have an oyster-based dish on their menu during that week, and they will be listed in publicity materials at no charge.
Restaurant owners, along with other businesses and organizations that wish to sponsor the event, will also have an opportunity to advertise in the program book and on the Oyster Trail map.
