The Selectmen voted on Tuesday night to approve a host community agreement with YouCanBeCo LLC, a cannabis manufacturer that will be located in the old Ocean Spray complex on Cranberry Highway.

The company will manufacture cannabis extracts and products which will be sold to other manufacturers or retailers. No retail sales would occur on the site.

The host community agreement includes a three percent impact fee to be paid to the town, along with some donations that the company wants to make to the town. 

The agreement was approved unanimously.
