Sheila F. Evans, 86 of Onset, died Sunday, February 13, 2011 at the Cape Cod Hospital surrounded by her family.

She was born in London, England on December 27, 1924 where she lived until coming to the United States to work for Shell Oil in 1950. She was the beloved wife of the late Clifton Evans for fifty years until his passing in 2000.

Sheila is survived by her six children, Susan Roden and her husband Bill of Tennessee, Sandra Russell of Centerville, David Evans and his wife Cheryl of Onset, Robert Evans and John Evans both of Bourne, and Julie Latini and her husband George of Plymouth. She was “Nana” to 8 grandchildren, Melissa Russell of Centerville, Jen Latini of Tennessee, Krystal Semple of Bourne, Liberty and Tyler Evans both of Bourne, and Chris, Amanda and Samantha Latini all of Plymouth. She was the great-grandmother of 3, Cameron and Jillian Allen of Bourne and Kaitlyn Evans Cronin of Centerville, and is survived by many other extended family members. She was also an adored friend to many.

Sheila enjoyed reading, going to Bingo and working the voting polls in Wareham.
