Track stars from Wareham High School and eight other area schools competed in the South Coast Conference winter track and field competition on Saturday, February 12 in New Bedford.

Wareham High School girls placed second in the 50-yard hurdles. Aliyah Alley placed fourth in the 300-meter dash. Isabel Scannell, Kelley Peterson, and Hailie Prien participated in the 50-yard dash. Prien also participated in the shot put along with Tiffany Marquez. Eileen Tierney placed fourth high jump, and represented WHS in the 50-yard hurdles as well.

On the boys' side, Tyler Pina placed fourth in the 300-meter dash. Tim Liffers, Zach Sass, and Ronald Anthony also participated in that race. Jimmy Zine, Arthur Mpofu, and Ian Searles represented Wareham in the 50-dash. Evan Moretti ran in the 600-meter run. Ryan Sanderson and Owen Bradley participated in the 1000-meter run.
