Six Wareham residents received recognition for 35 or more years of service with Southcoast Health at its annual Employee Service Recognition Banquet Friday night.

President and CEO of Southcoast Health Keith A. Hovan thanked the employees during the event.

“Your years of service and devotion have helped make Southcoast what it is today — a thriving healthcare system, striving to make the community healthy and keep the community healthy both within our walls and beyond," Hovan said.

The employees from Wareham recognized at the event are as follows:

Fernanda Halpen in Perioperative Services, with 45 years of service

Ruth Atkinson in Patient Services, with 40 years of service

Paula Billard in Imaging Services, with 40 years of service

Alice Canham in Patient Services, with 40 years of service

Edwin Ross in Environmental Services, with 35 years of service

John Sullivan in Imaging Services, with 35 years of service
