Boys Tennis

Mike Monteiro was the sole victorious Viking, as he defeated Dighton-Rehoboth's Matt Amaral in straight sets 6-2, 6-4, in the teams' match last Thursday.

The Vikings fared better in their next match against New Bedford on Friday, but the Whaler's ultimately prevailed 3-2. Wareham's first singles player Doug Geist overcame a sluggish second set to defeat Tevin Honohan, 6-1,4-6, 6-1. Number two singles player Andy Cavicchi defeated Alex Sousa in straight sets 6-4, 6-4. However, New Bedford swept the doubles matches, and Monteiro brought his second set to a tiebreaker in the third singles match but was defeated by New Bedford's Caleb Pierce.

Boys Volleyball

Greater New Bedford Voc-Tech shut out Wareham to earn the team's first win of the season, winning sets 25-19, 25-15 and 25-14. Wareham's Dylon Pine and Mark Willard provided 14 and six digs, respectively, in the loss.

Girls Tennis

The Girls Tennis Team was shutout in their last two matches, falling to Dighton-Rehoboth on Thursday and New Bedford on Friday.

Girls Spring Track

MaryGrace Brogioli was a double-winner for the Vikings, taking first place in the triple jump (30-10) and 400 hurdles (74.6). Marley Harunk won the 200-meter dash with a time of 28.2. Harunk and Brogioli were joined by Dereka Gomes and Brianna King in a first-place finish in the 4x100 relay with a time of 54.8 seconds.
