St. Pat’s police patches to raise money for Boston Children’s Hospital

Mar 9, 2021

The Wareham Police Department is raising money for the Boston Children’s Hospital through the sale of special Irish-themed Wareham Police patches.

The patches will be for sale at Stone Path Malt from March 17 to March 20. Each $10 patch purchase will include a $5 donation to Boston Children’s Hospital.

For each patch, customers will also get a $5 credit toward their bill at Stone Path Malt.

On March 19, Mike Hynes will be playing Irish music at Stone Path Malt from 4 to 9 p.m. Stone Path is open from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays.

Calib LaRue, the vice president of the Wareham Police Association, said that the group came up with the fundraiser after learning that their annual blood drive to support the hospital, scheduled for April, would be far smaller than usual due to covid safety restrictions.
