Storm winds down, Multi-Service Center operating as shelter

Crews are continuing the clean-up effort following the winter storm that hit Wareham early Wednesday morning. The National Weather Service's winter storm warning officially ended at 8 p.m.
The town's Multi-Service Center, located at 48 Marion Road, is currently operating as a temporary shelter for anyone needing to get out of the cold.
Wareham Public Schools will reopen tomorrow.
Southcoast Health System released the following information:
- Tobey Hospital, OPTIFAST Weight Loss and Lifestyle Management Program canceled on Wednesday. Product pickup available Thursday 2-3 p.m. at St. Luke's Hospital (payment by check only please) and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 112 Main Street, Wareham or Friday between 3-4 p.m. at St. Luke's Hospital.
- Tobey Hospital, All Nursing Education classes are canceled on Wednesday. Classes will be rescheduled. Students will be contacted directly to reschedule.
- Tobey Hospital, Outpatient Nutrition Counseling is closed Wednesday. Call 1-800-276-0103 to reschedule.
