Students charmed by snakes and lizards

Tired teenagers weren't the only things creeping through the hallways of Wareham High School early Wednesday morning.
Reptiles invaded the high school library on April 16 to give students in Craig Berriault’s science classes an up close and personal look at their studies.
The reptiles were escorted by Jeffrey Beatriz of Acushnet-based pet store Cold Blooded Pets. Students were introduced to everything from corn, ball, and king snakes to a bearded dragon and a tortoise. There were even a couple of tarantulas were also thrown in the reptile mix.
