Summer youth program to be held at the Lyman Reserve

Schools are almost out and the summer is here. An open house for a outdoor summer program for children entering grades K-5 will be held on Saturday, June 21 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Lyman Reserve. During this two-hour event, program staff will be on hand to offer guided trail walks and aid in registration for the program which runs in July and August.

This program is free to youth from Wareham and Plymouth. The cost is $50 per day for participants from other towns. Lyman Reserve is located at 1009 Head of the Bay Road in Buzzards Bay.

The program will run from July 21 to 24 and August 18 to 21 from 9:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. and uses the grounds of the reserve as a natural classroom, with shaded program space available for guided discussions, crafts and indoor time in the case of inclement weather.
