Grab a pair of goggles and some swimming trunks and get ready for for the Gleason Family YMCA's Swim-A-Thon Saturday, Oct. 26.

The event will be held at the Gleason Family YMCA pool and will run from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

There will be an individual challenge with a one, three or five mile continuous swim. Brief breaks will be allowed and anyone interested will receive a lane and start time once they register.

Along with the individual challenge, there will also be a team challenge consisting of a 10 mile continuous swim. Teammates will share a lane and interested teams should sign up to receive a start time and lane.

Prizes will be awarded based on the challenge at the end of the event.
