Sybil Perry, 74

Sybil A (Horton) Perry, 74, of Wareham passed away Sunday, May 15 at home with her husband and family after a long illness.

She was the wife of David Perry and they had just celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary.

She was the the daughter of Percy Horton and Margaret (Mackay) Horton.

She graduated from Wareham High School in 1955 and attended Aviation Training School in Boston to work in the aviation field.

She was a woman of many talents. She made and decorated cakes for all occasions and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and making clothing for her family.

She lived on Tyler Aveune in East Wareham for many years before retiring to Tyner, Kentucky with her husband, where they lived for 14 years before illness caused them to return home to be with their children.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her children Debbie A. (Perry) Brundage, Willard P. (Buddy) Perry and his wife Ericka of West Wareham, Margaret E (Perry) Reed and her husband Randy of Marion, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two infant sons and one infant daughter.

There will be a memorial service on May 28 at 2 p.m. at Grace Lighthouse Fellowship church in East Wareham.
