Sylvia M. Gubin, 93, died peacefully Friday, May 29 at Tobey Hospital. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Born in Quincy, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni Coletti and Theresa (Pardon) Coletti. She was a longtime resident of Brockton, but spent her retired years in Wareham. She worked as a head cook at West Acres Nursing home of Brockton. She was an active and devoted member of St. Patrick's Church. Her passion was her family and loved spending time with her friends.

She is survived by her son, Mark Gubin and wife Mary Gubin of Wareham; her grandchildren, Jamie McIntosh and his wife Veronica McIntosh of Wareham, Christopher McIntosh and fiancé Brittani Patton of Wareham; and her two great grandchildren Victoria and Cole McIntosh.

A Mass to celebrate her life was held at St. Patrick's Church on Thursday, June 4 at 10 a.m.
