'Taste Japan' and help families in need on May 21
Massachusetts Children’s Relief’s “Taste Japan” is Saturday, May 21 at Salerno Seaside Function Facility in Onset. The four course plated service begins at 6:30 p.m. The meal includes beer and wine tastings. The event will feature door prizes and a silent auction.
Tickets cost $40 and are available at Gallery Consignment Shoppe, Plymouth County Teachers Federal Credit Union and Music of the Bay until May 20 at noon. Tickets cost $45 at the door. Event proceeds benefit Turning Point Day Resource Center for the Homeless and Nearly Homeless, Wareham High School’s Best Buddies and Trey Miranda.

In the past 10 years, the Children’s Relief and Salerno collaboration has raised $46,000 for Turning Point. More than $11, 000 has been shared with kid-based programs and local kids in cancer treatment.
