To the Editor:

The Kourtney Dream Memorial Fund wishes to extend a heartfelt "thank you" to all of the supporters, volunteers, and businesses for their support in making the first Kourtney Dream Memorial such a great success.

The Kourtney Dream Memorial Fund is a fund started in memory of the beautiful, young Kourtney M. Viera, who was tragically killed on January 16, 2011. A committee formed with hopes to keep her memory alive.

The event was held on January 14, 2012 at the Dudley L. Brown, VFW in Onset. The funds that were raised went to four Wareham High School students in need of help with senior expenses. A scholarship in Kourtney's name will be awarded to a senior from this year's 2012 graduating class.
