To the Editor:

I would like to thank the many individuals and organizations, too many to name, who supported the Wareham Boys & Girls Club financially, volunteered, suggested or presented programs, provided free passes to events for Club members, served on a committee, or met an emergency need while I was the Club's director.

I would also like to thank all those Kukoo Committee members, Club and WCTV staff, and my family, who planned a truly wonderful and memorable retirement celebration for me.

I am truly grateful for the love and well-wishes I received. I was truly amazed and pleased at the diversity represented at the party -- it was so Wareham.

Serving the children and families of the Wareham community has been one of the best and most rewarding experiences of my life. As I said to my successor, Ken Fontes: "I never had a bad day."

Thank you Wareham, from the bottom of my heart.
