Thanks from Wareham Mardi Gras V

Throwing Community Thanks!

The Wareham Mardi Gras at Decas School was a colorful & joyful success. Both kids and adults alike earned their beads. In two hours, $300 was raised for the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund, and over $400 worth of goods was collected for Damien's Pantry & Baby Point. Additionally, food & beverages were also shared with St. Patrick's Table. We were able to share the wealth due to generosity of Dunkin Donuts, Tihonet Village Market, Target, Shaw's Supermarket and Cape Cod Distributors. Because of our volunteer revelers from Target, Crime Watch, Onset Youth Center, Turning Point and WMS Renaissance, the afternoon was fun filled & went off without a hitch. Finally, annual thanks to our friends at Whispering Forest School in Slidell for shipping up the "fresh catch" of beads and Wareham Community Mini Storage for storing our gaudy goodies.
