The Gleason Family YMCA will be hosting a trunk or treat event from 2 to 4 p.m. on Halloween, Saturday, October 31.

Everyone is invited to attend in costume for an afternoon of socially-distanced trunk or treating or with a decorated car from which to hand out candy.

Prizes will be given to those with the best costumes and best decorated cars. 

Admission is free, but the YMCA says a donation of a non-perishable food item would be “boo-tiful.” The Y is currently collecting food for Thanksgiving, including stuffing, mac and cheese, gracy, veggies, broth, and disposable turkey pans. 

The event will be held at the Y’s 33 Charge Pond Rd. location.
