Two arrested for stabbing in Onset
A Middleboro man and an Onset woman have been arrested in connection with an alleged stabbing in Onset on Saturday, July 28, according to a police press release.
Police received a call at approximately 2 a.m. on Saturday that the victim, 37-year-old Michael Pinnetti, had walked into Tobey Hospital with a stab wound to the neck and hand, police said.
The victim was treated at Tobey Hospital before being transported to the trauma center at Rhode Island Hospital for additional treatment, police said.
Tammy Mattos of 73 North Eleventh Street in Onset was arrested in connection with the stabbing, police said. The assault occurred at Mattos' residence, police said.
Mattos has been charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, police said.
A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of Matthew Brow of 210 Miller Street in Middleboro at his residence at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, police said. Brow was arrested with the help of the Middleboro Police.
Brow has been charged with assault with intent to murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, police said.
