On Friday, Dec. 13 at approximately 3:00 p.m., detectives of the Wareham Police Department executed a search warrant on a vehicle parked at Wareham Crossing regarding the sale and possession of illegal drugs.

The search warrant was executed when the driver of the vehicle, 25-year-old Timothy Crooker, formerly of Wareham and currently residing at 6 Mitchell St. Middleboro, Mass., and 25 year old Wareham resident Steven Petronelli were observed arriving at the parking lot in a vehicle owned by Petronelli and stopping in the area of the suspect vehicle. Detectives then made observances and approached the two males.

During interaction with Petronelli, detectives noticed a digital scale fall to the ground and a small plastic bag containing a hard, brown substance believed to be approximately ten grams of heroin in the console of the vehicle occupied by the males. Mr. Crooker was found to be in possession of approximately four grams of heroin, two cell phones, and $480.

Steven Petronelli and Timothy Crooker were each charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class A Substance (Heroin), and were arraigned this morning at Wareham 4th District Court.
