Two motorcycle riders were transported to Tobey Hospital after an accident near the entrance of Walmart on Cranberry Highway at approximately 11:40 a.m. on April 16.
Foxboro resident Mark Crichton, 56, who was operating the bike, said he suffered a broken rib and his girlfriend, 50-year-old Dawn Titus, suffered cuts and abrasions.
The accident involved only the motorcycle, according to Captain Matt Rowley of the Wareham Fire Department.
Crichton said he was trying to avoid hitting a car when the accident occurred.
“A woman cut in front of us,” he said.
Wareham Police did not immediately respond to a request for further information.
