A car and a truck crashed around 9 p.m. on Cranberry Highway in front of Bananas Outdoor.

The cause of the collision and number injured are not yet  known. There were minor injuries and one person was transported to the hospital, Wareham EMS said.

Two Emergency Medical Service vehicles, an Onset firetruck and two patrol cars stayed at the scene of the crash.

Officers looked inside the smaller car with a flashlight.

Airbags had deployed and by-standers, who flocked to the scene after hearing a loud crash, spoke of the blood in one of the cars.

Police have not released details about the crash.
