Jun 19, 2011
A Buzzards Bay man was injured when his 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis rolled over on Route 25 eastbound at roughly 10:45 a.m. on Friday.
The driver, identified by State Troopers as 81-year-old David Mann, was pinned in the vehicle and had to be extricated using "Jaws of Life" tools, said Onset Fire Department Captain Raymond Goodwin. Plymouth firefighters also helped in the rescue.
Mann was taken to Tobey Hospital where he was treated and transferred to Massachusetts General Hospital where is now listed in fair condition.
Goodwin said the vehicle likely rolled four or five times before coming to a stop just over the Plymouth town line. Mann was the only person in the car.
